Mohamed El Jamal

Chief Investment Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Waha Investment
Mr. Mohamed El Jamal joined Waha Capital in 2010 and since that time, he has been instrumental in setting-up and leading Waha Capital’s Public Markets business. He is the CIO and lead PM of the Waha CEEMEA Credit Fund SP and the Waha MENA Equity Fund SP, both of which have a long-term track record of outperformance and have consistently ranked in the top percentile of their respective peer groups.

Under Mr. El Jamal’s leadership, Waha Capital’s Public Markets business has attracted third party capital from a high-quality mix of international and regional investors. Mr. El Jamal has 17 years of professional experience investing across the capital structure, including public credit, equities as well as private markets. Prior to joining Waha Capital, he worked for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in London focusing on equity and debt financing transactions across Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. El Jamal holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering, which he obtained with Honors, from ESSEC Business School in France, he has also completed the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Ahmed Khalifa Al Mansoori

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Ahmed Al Mansoori joined the Company in May 2022 and commenced his role as Chief Operating Officer as of 1 January 2023. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Al Mansoori was the Managing Director of Gulf Paradise Real Estate Investments and Chief Executive Officer of REEF Real Estate. Mr. Mansoori started his career at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority where he joined the Infrastructure Direct Investments Team before moving to the Fixed Income Department as a Portfolio Manager. In 2013, Mr. Mansoori joined the private sector and managed different companies in different industries. Mr. Al Mansoori brings more than 16 years of operational, investment and senior management experience and he has played an instrumental role in the day-to-day management of the Company during his tenure with the Company. Mr. Al Mansoori holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Economics) and a minor in Econometrics from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University Ottawa, Canada.
